RoachByte wasn’t born from a gigantic pot of seed money backed by a few wealthy investors. It didn’t come from any sort of existing partnerships being stolen or relationships broken. It came from a place of concern; too often, we would see system installers do a fantastic job at installing networked systems, but not having the technical know-how to configure those systems safely and securely. Typically, the systems in environments such as this don’t have a full-time IT staff to oversee and be there to fix things when they go wrong. We’re most familiar with IT systems that are put on the backburner, waiting for disaster to strike when one critical component fails—because we’ve seen it.
